will the seats from a 97 2dr xj fit into a 96 2dr without modding? I live in an apt right now so can't be doing a lotta grinding, cutting or welding.

 

what you need to do is remove the seats to be replaced first and flip them over to view the seat frame and sliders. Just unbolt it from the floorpan of the Jeep. Then, look for four bolts that attach the actual seat to the frame and measure out those dimensions. Do the same for your donor seats....should work, but save yourself some time and keep all the tracks and sliders on both sets of seats until you're sure the measurements jive
