this has been argued many times over and yes it does put more leverage on the bearing, but its not much different than running an offset wheel.

what style spacer do you have? please dont tell me the flat style that the stud just sticks through then the wheel goes on over that. There a death trap and you couldnt pay me to run them
Yea those r it. I using them temperarily . Intil I getvthe actual adaptervor new rims which ever I can get first . I kno alot of my jeep buddies also have large tires and dnt torque there wheels, down wen they puttem back on. Tires that large need b torqued to spec. They always have problems with there wheels wen not torqued

as jeep19xj91 said those style of spacers are a god damn death trap with stock lugs, lugs are cheap go to your local parts place and get longer ones to make up for the added thickness of the spacer if you want to run them.....and torquing your wheels doesnt mean jack **** if theres not enough threads grabbing

Your wheels are the only thing between you and a fiery death.... Why the hell would you take a chance on those short studs? New studs or park it, don't gamble your life or someone else's on a few threads.
