Yep I got that, but there's no way I can get the spring attached with the shackle towards the rear.

So - what's the fix? A new shackle? I can't really extend the springs in any way....and seems like a bad design if it's gonna cause a rough ride with new springs.

See if they sag .
Buy more parts to relocate shackle angle.
Call supplier and explain.

Me id call supplier.

Ah - you mean move the whole shackle forward? Is that something that needs to be done on an old jeep? Because the springs are, like I said the same size and everything so that's no the issue.

Have I reinstalled the leafs incorrectly then? Because I fitted the bushings to the frame/shackle first and let it and, then raised the axle so it connected to the axle just enough and put on the u-bolts and screwed it in place. Should I raise the axle even more and try to push the shackle back manually perhaps?
