Default Why so rough and not steering straight?

I have a 96 Cherokee Classic and it has a 4.5" RE superflex kit with full packs. It seems to ride so rough. I dont know if maybe i need new shocks or what but you can feel every single bump. I think i need a steering stabilizer as well because its hard to keep it straight because it kinda sways back and forth, i have to move the steering wheel constantly to keep it straight. I also do not have sway bars on it. I think im going to order the RC disconnects from ebay for $58 bucks. But i really need to know what is making it ride so rough and why its not steering straight.

I broke the passenger lower control arm bracket right in half. Could this be from the rough ride? it happened when i hit the brakes

well, there's something wrong. cause the RE superflex kit rides better than stock, so you have a problem somewhere.

i'd replace that control arm mount with an aftermarket one. something way stronger.

check all your bushings (shock, track bar, sway bar/end links, control arm, etc. etc...)

daystar and energy suspension make full poly bushing kits. no sway bar in the front can also make it squirrelly you may also want to get an alignment done.

when you say "rough". just so we're clear. does it shake or anything like that. "chasing" the steering sounds like somethng is worn out or loose. wheel bearing or tie rod. the stabilizer is a shock on the steering and is only there to prevent sudden steering movment like when you're off road and hit a rock.
