Default who is running 17" wheels

Looking at craigslist and i see some wheel and tire deals and wonder if 17's work ok on XJ's with a 2 inch lift, maybe some 265 75 17's

the 265 is a 33x10.5r17

It can be done with LOTS of fender trimming. well actually about 3" of fender trimming(depending on back spacing)

I love the way 17's look on cherokee's though

stock JK wheels have 6.5" backspacing as well....

Sahara
Size 18 x 7.5

Backspacing on all factory wheels is 6.25"

Yea I like larger wheels also, they remind me Land Rovers, but I dont trust my skills for cutting fenders. If I did I would want them finished off with a fender of some sort. I need more skills.

That just looks freakin great! It doesnt look like he had to cut the fenders and I have an 01. He does have a 3" lift though and that would need a transfer case drop as well. I just might be able to pull that off though. I want to steal my wifes Grand Cherokee 16" wheels. But she would never go for that.

Scratch that, I just checked and hers are 17" wheels.... I wonder if she would notice...
