Smile White Limited with black grill?

I just got a 1997 all white. The grill and headlight shrouds were repainted an incorrect white. Will drive me nuts at some point.
Does anyone have a photo of a white XJ (with white flares/trim) but black grill and shrouds?
Also, anyone know if you can buy the stone white in spray cans?

Thanks

flares ain't white, but the grill is black. the napa in my area will mix about any automotive paint and put it in a spray can. however even with the correct paint it will still not look the same because of the clear coat. not to mention i'd imagine the original paint on your jeep has faded some.

I cant see any evidence of a clear coat on either of my stone white '96

On all other colors I have seen they seem to be a clear over base COB

It seems to me the white is "solid color" 2 pac urethane ?

code is PW1

you are correct that it wont match, due to fading/discoloration of the original white

The black grill/headlights on the white XJ looks really good IMHO.

X2.
With black bumper caps also.
And I don't mean the painted to match ones.
Just the regular textured ones.
It breaks up all that white.
I feel the same way about red XJ's.

I just swapped from black to white to see whats best..now I am confused

also got a "chromed" front pod recently, but its got cracks

anyway, some next steps for me in pimping are to swap gold emblems instead of silver, and the factory alloy bar, polished, and modified to take a winch and approach angle

I’ll probably go with a black primer first to see how it looks. I agree that the full white is a little much.
I found the Stone White in a can. Of course it won’t match but it will be much closer than the bright white that is on currently.
nice jeeps!

Thinking cause the grill and headlight surround are plastic a Krylon Fusion might be the way to go.
That was really more of a question. LOL.
Satin or gloss?
