Default whistling?

I have an 01 sport and when i give it gas and hit a certin rpm i hear a whistle. Not sure if it my fuel pump or not.

Chances are it's a vacuum leak. Look up the testing procedure for vacuum leaks, it typically involves either smoking the system or using carb cleaner.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure your fuel pump is in your gas tank. Open the hood, and use a section of hose to your ear to locate the source, as well as looking for a line that's just off. (a vacuum line). As Snake says, there are more ways to locate a vacuum leak.
