Default wheres the brake relay?

88 cherokee. I6 My brake lights dont work, the bulbs are good, the fuse is good, and the brake pedal switch is new. I was looking at a wiring diagram and it shows a brake relay.. does anyone know where it is located?

according to my FSM the brake relay is behind the rear interior panel on the drivers side. pm me your email and I can email the diagram

cool on the manual! im sure i'll find useful stuff on there,that the haynes manual does'nt have.

How do I get to it? Could this cause my brake lights not to work?

you have to remove the trim that covers the wheel well on the inside. And yes that could cause your brake lights not to work. do you have power at the brake light switch? and coming out of it?
