I bought a 1988 Jeep Cherokee Chief last year. I could not find the jack on it anywhere....so I bought a bottle jack and its utensils recently from a Jeep ethusiast. I cannot for the life of me figure out where to store it on the Cherokee. I know where to place it when I use it, but I cannot find its compartment or where this thing is supposed to go until I need it. And of course with my luck....I'll go stick it in the shop and be out somewhere far away and need the jack for a flat. Where id the mounting location or storage compartment for this jack?!?! HELP!

 

My jack lives under the rear seat.

 

My sons was under the hood. Mine in ny 99 is under the back seat.
