Where is my NSS (pic inside)

Found the problem! After 3 hours under there i've finally discovered that the shifter on the tranny isnt fully engaging in PARK. If i take the 18mm and 10mm nut (that support the cable - before it turns into a metal arm) off, i'm able to manually put the shifter all the way in the direction towards the rear of the car (PARK). Then, it starts.... Go to shift it in NUETRAL, or any other position and it will NOT start in PARK again. So for some reason it seems i need to adjust this cable in order to make the shifter arm extend more.
Before i pull my shifter column apart, is this cable even able to be adjusted? and if not, what should i do?
thanks guys

I believe the cable can be adjusted, if you can't get it sometimes a little persuasion ( bend the bracket) is all you need. just got knocked out of whack when you pulled the engine.
Good luck!
Good luck!
I was thinking of bending the bracket too, but i might as well start with the right way to do it first.
Does the shifter cable adjust underneath the center counsel? (i dont see any type of adjustment on the tranny really)
Any one have a write up for this, mainly removing the shifter counsel? (i tend to break plastic pieces anytime i touch interior pieces
)
OK,
The center counsel was nothing to remove, theres two screws in the front dish, two under the cupholder, two in the armrest container, remove the armrest container and i believe there's 3 more, all in plain sight.
So then i adjusted the cable, it goes into PARK fine, Reverse, and Nuetral, but nuetral continues over DRIVE and drive doesnt hit until i hit the next shift (1 i believe).
Ill fool with it again tonight but id thought i'd give an update to anyone who reads this thread.

Cant seem to find my NSS. Is it in the pic below?
EDIT:
I forgot to mention that I THINK the problem is the NSS, i could be wrong. Mainly becuase it was starting fine, i had to pull the engine and now it only will start in nuetral and not park. Usually i thought when the NSS goes, its because dirt/dust get in there. I figured if i wasnt driving it, then how could that be?
The only thing i had to remove on the tranny when i pulled the engine was the topmost (and leftmost) black cable in the picture. I didnt even remove the cable, i just had to remove the 18mm and 10mm bolts that hold its support to the tranny. ( i had to get it out of the way in order to get the bottom driverside bellhousing bolt out.

The WJ's cable is adjusted under the vehicle.
Place shifter in Park.
Raise and support securely on jackstands.
Make sure the Park lock is engaged by trying to rotate the driveshaft.
Loosen the cable adjuster screw at the shift lever on the trans. Make sure Shifter in car is in Park, & the lever (on the trans.) is still in the Park position, all the way to the rear.
Tighten adjuster screw.
Lower vehicle and make sure it only starts in Park and Neutral.
If it starts in any other gears check the PNP (NSS) switch.
