go to the JY and find a old corvette or rx7 or something with the pop-up headlights, yank out the whole assemblies, mount them inside your front skid-plate with cut-outs so they are armored when off and pop-downward out of the plate when switched on?

You'd have to rig some red leds inside there behind em too, just so it'd be even more mysterious and evil looking!

You have a stock roof rack? You could mount them there. I had two KC type lights and no roof rack so I made a light bar for the front bumper that positioned the lights just far enough out that they do not hit the grille. Nothing pretty but gets the job done well.

Not my thread but that's a good idea, put up pics if you do do it, do a whole write up. I think it would be popular

Default how thick are the 6" lights?

How deep are the 6" lights? too deep to drill & bolt onto the front bumper? if so you could probably find a piece or two of scrap metal to drill and bolt onto the bumper to give you enough clearance. If you only need an extra inch or so it wouldn't have to be super beefy. That's what I always figured I'd do if I replaced my factory fogs before getting a custom bumper. (the epoxy seems to be holding my fogs on surprisingly well though! hehe)

Ya that'd be pretty cool man but they'd probably get screwed up when I take it on trails and threw the mud.

A pillar? I see plenty of people do it, but that's usually one of the last places they put em, everywhere else is filled lol, just suggestions...

Ya there pretty thick man, my dad had four of them on his Excursion and he took two of them off. They've been sitting in a box for a couple years now in the shed and now that I got his old Cherokee I wanna put em on there. I'll take a pic a measure how thick they are and post it on the thread tomorrow, thanks for your advice!

Ya I want a rack too but I don't have a full size spare, or the money for a roof rack, that's where most people put their lights, but the bumper is a good place too. I don't have factory fogs so I would get a pair of fogs and mount them there before anything else. But whatever you want to do its your rig

Mount them on the back of the roof, facing rearward for TAILGATERS!

I had a set mounted to the front stock bumper in the holes that are already there when I bought mine.

Had to remove them for inspection, though I plan on reinstalling to the roof.
