pop outs?
go to the JY and find a old corvette or rx7 or something with the pop-up headlights, yank out the whole assemblies, mount them inside your front skid-plate with cut-outs so they are armored when off and pop-downward out of the plate when switched on?

You have a stock roof rack? You could mount them there. I had two KC type lights and no roof rack so I made a light bar for the front bumper that positioned the lights just far enough out that they do not hit the grille. Nothing pretty but gets the job done well.

how thick are the 6" lights?
How deep are the 6" lights? too deep to drill & bolt onto the front bumper? if so you could probably find a piece or two of scrap metal to drill and bolt onto the bumper to give you enough clearance. If you only need an extra inch or so it wouldn't have to be super beefy. That's what I always figured I'd do if I replaced my factory fogs before getting a custom bumper. (the epoxy seems to be holding my fogs on surprisingly well though! hehe)

Mount them on the back of the roof, facing rearward for TAILGATERS!
I had a set mounted to the front stock bumper in the holes that are already there when I bought mine.
Had to remove them for inspection, though I plan on reinstalling to the roof.
