where to ground aftermarket head unit

Default where to ground aftermarket head unit
i can't find a good spot to ground the head unit

Why not use the factory ground?

is that the small black cable that is separate from the 2 connectors for the factory stereo? by the way i have a 2000 without infinity system

Yes, at least the ground was separate from the harness on my 92.

It was screwed into the factory stereo.

I just ground both the aftermarket head unit and OEM ground to the back of the stereo. No issues.

The factory stereo should of had a ground on it. You can always use that. Good luck
