Default where to get a factory CPS

i have had 2 of the supposedly good NAPA crank position sensors in my 97, 2.5, manual trans cherokee. they last about 2-3 weeks. today went to the dealer to buy a factory one and was told there were over 400 on back order nationally and basically,"good luck" napa is honoring its warranty on them, thankfully to a friend. so, im putting in another one and a coolant sensor. the two things that a computer scan said was wrong. is there anyplace i can order a true factory CPS online? thanks.

My local dealer stocks these and a couple of other parts that would leave a 4.0 owner stranded, like TPS and water pump. I am not sure if the 2.5 manual takes a different part that could be subject to a back order.

Nationally back ordered? $400? They are thieves and liars. Just got one from a Chrysler parts rep I know, and it was one day to get it and $100.

For a 2.5l 4 banger? Cause this guy doesn't have a 4.0 like most of us.

well, i get 22 mpg with that 4 banger. goes good in the woods, snow and any reasonable place just fine. not the first one at the top of the mountain. but, don't care, still makes it. believe the same cps works on both engines. haha

Did the 4 banger come with an AW4 also?

There is no justification for a CPS costing $400 either, Highway Robbery!
