Default where do the bastards come from?

Put a 3" lift (spacer in front and a leaf in the back) and did some trimming but it doesn't quite do it for these 33" tires. There is sag from age.

Read here and there about "bastard packs" that will give me the lift I need. S10 leaves and Dakota front coils? a 4.5" lift?

I need to know what lift to expect and do they come from a suv or pickup? What year? Any help would be appreciated.

S-10, blazer , dakota. Just about any will work cuz you cut the eyes off the main of bastard pack. And it depends on how many leafs you use to get desired lift. You wil need new u-bolts. You have to mix and match to get it where you want it.

You can get the front coils from a ZJ with the 5.2L V8. Should get you about another inch up front.

grand cherokee with the v8 coils will give about another inch you deffinatly cant use dakota front coils because dakotas dont have coils in the front

You can use any leafs that are 2.5" wide and are close to the length of the XJ's. I like leafs from the K-20 pick up's.

One other thing you want to get leafs that are at least 26" long for the back side other wise the top leaf will bend.
