Where in relation to the XJ main leaf should I cut a blazer/S-10 main to use as the second leaf in a bastard pack? Right behind the eyes on the XJ main, 2" back from the XJ main both front and back, etc?
Thanks,

just cut the eyes off the s-10 leafs and fit the top 3 s-10 leafs in between your main and second leaf in the xj pack.
i've done prolly 5 sets this way.

Right behind the eyes. That way the XJ main doesn't have to support any weight. The S10 spring has a higher spring rate, and higher arch so you want the XJ main to just be an alignment device.
