Something inside the drivers side seat is broke in my 89 xj so it leans to one side and makes it uncomfortable on long trips. Can I swap it with the passenger side seat? How hard is it to do? or should i just get a new seat?

It is easy to swap with a little bit of time and probably a lot of pb blaster. The easiest way is to remove the whole seat assembly. There are 4 nuts that hold the base to the floor and that is where the pb will be needed. Those nuts have a habit of becoming rusted and could break the studs if not careful. Then there are 2 bolts and 2 nuts the hold the seat frame to the base. Finally 4 bolts the hold the seat base to the seat frame. If the 4 nuts on the floor are not seized with rust the whole process can be done in about an hour or less.
