Where to buy leaf shackles, DONT say Quadratec
I placed an order for these 3 weeks ago. Their site never said they were back-ordered, etc., so after a couple days and no shipping confirmation, I call. Its a Friday. Guy says theyre due in Tuesday and theyll be shipped to me that day. Thursday rolls around and nothing. Call again, same thing. This goes on three times, today being the third. Just got off the phone with them and let me tell you, Ive ALWAYS had great luck with Quadratec, but this REALLY put me off. When nobody knows whats going on or what to tell me except, "Theyre on back-order, theyre due in" its kind of frustrating. Had I known they were on back-order I wouldnt have ordered them in the first place.
Soooo.....anyone know where I can get some leaf spring shackles for my 99 that ARENT lifted? I need regular replacement shackles, greasable if possible. I havent looked everywhere, hell, I havent looked anywhere else, so if anyone has some suggestions Id love to hear them. In the meantime, Ill be hitting my go-to bookmarks. Thanks.

I appreciate the replies, thanks a bunch. My internet search isnt going as well as I had hoped.
GUNNAR, PM sent.
96XJ, I cant find any non-lift shackles on their site. Matter of fact, they only have 2 types that I can find: 1.5" and 2".
Evilpopcorn, I appreciate the info but there are no members here with that name.
Maybe I should just wait on the ones from Quadratec, I dont know. For the $17 each for standard height, Im thinking Im not going to find anything that will be close price-wise. Just a real pain when a company cant tell you whats going on with their products on back-order and you feel like youre getting a run-around.

I appreciate it. Odd, I searched him and couldnt find him. Guess I must have put it in wrong or something. I would check a yard, but I only know of two in my state and both are 3 hours from me and do business in-person only. Not worth checking out for rusted out shackles, you know. Guess Ill need keep searching the net and/or wait for Quadratec to get them in. Bummer. I made a large order of stuff from them 4 weeks ago, leafs, bushings, shackles, etc., and was hoping to do this all at once.
Can I put the 1.5" lift ones in with no problems, i.e., no other mods? This is a daily drive, basically stock, and I dont want to mess anything up until she is turned into my offroad vehicle, probably another year or two down the road.
