When does electric fan come on?
I am currently running mobil1 10w-30. I just put it in there 100 miles ago. Theres a new water pump, temp. sensor, and oil pressure sensor. In the mid day heat with the a/c on it doesn't get to 230. But oil pressure is on Zero at 220 degrees. It doesn't knock or anything scary like that yet when it hits the zero mark.
Maybe my oil is too thin? Any suggestions on a additive or something to thicken up my oil. I dont really wanna change my $40 mobil one after 100 miles.

Don't put an additive in your oil........get your gauge/sensor tested. A simple test will tell u what you what actual oil pressure is when hot and at what rpm. If actual oil pressure is good, fix the gauge/sending unit......if not, the oil pump and/or crank, rod and cam bearings are likely gone and 100W oil would only be a temporary fix.
Are u using an aftermarket temp gauge to verify your actual coolant temp or going by the factory dash gauge?

Yes...and in the repair industry it's called the "Money" light!
I switched to Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 Synthetic Diesel Oil and now she holds 25 psi at idle hot and still fires up at -20*F.
