Default When does the coolant flow?

So, Im flushing the radiator. I drained the coolant, hooked everything back up. filled the resivior with the cleaner and water. I started the engine and let it run for a good 5 to 8 minutes, but the water in the resivior never started flowing through the engine? The temp maxes out, but no water flows. When should it? Could I have a bad pump?

If the thermostat is stuck and does not open thern the coolant will not flow. Or with the closed cooling system on the Renix models, there could be a air bubble in the water pump that is stropping flow. Burp the system and then check it.
