Default wheels and tires

can you fit a 31/10.5/15 tire on a 15/10 inch rim?

yes. You might want to make sure its 4-4.5"inch backspacing or else at full turn it'll hit ur lower control arms. I have 31x10.50 on 15x8 and it rubs at full turn. So either check the backspacing or get spacers though I wouldn't recommend spacers.

yes but i dont think it will look as good as 15x8 like it will look kinda rounded or something.. can't expalain it but i think the rule is about 1.5 to 2.5 inches wider tires than wheels. just what i can remember but i dont have anything to back it up right now. check like bfg for tire sizes and under that bfg will have a recommended wheel range for you.

Yeah our tires won't have a bulge to it when looking at the jeep straight on. I think thats what he's trying to say. Also if you wheel the chances of your lip on the rim getting messed up is more likely cause the rubber won't flex around the lip as much when your flexing and won't offer as much protection.
