Kermit either will work fine with that lift. Did you buy the rims already? If not you might check on Summits site and see if they arent a bit cheaper and you may save on tax if they don't have a store in your state.

havent purchased any thing yet because rough country has no rear leafs at this time. they are on back order i spoke with jr and he said they are getting 800 rear leafs on monday. if so ill get the lift on monday install it and then get the wheels ill check with summit see what they can do. thanks for the advise you guys are AWESOME!!!!!

Been looking at the pro comp series 51 15x7x4.5 backspace these rims are powered coated black. Can get them with a 10% discount free shipping for $60.29 or 4 for $241.16 from www.4wd.com I had the cragar soft 8's on my tj within a year they all 4 had rusted around the center even the chrome centers were rusted.

 

jeepride that is too much backspacing. 3.75-4.0" is the norm for having a rub free ride. I have had my soft 8s about a year and not even a hint of rust. I did coat them pretty heavy with wax when they arrived though. We don't have any salt on the roads here either.

Ok, as a sidenote, what is the stock backspacing on the cherokee? Ive got a 94 Country with those basketweave alloys rolling on 235/70 r 15 Michelins. I would like to have a set of the soft 8's and just keep my tires as i want to run them till they wear out.
