I live in Florida and thinking about buying steel wheels however I'm worries they will rust or bend. Any thoughts ?

Steel wheels will not rust unless the factory coating is compromised. They will not bend unless you hit something (hard). FYI if you hit something hard enough to bend a steel wheel it will most likely break an aluminum wheel. If you scratch them get some clear coat or matching color wheel paint and touch them up.

If you get painted wheels you can always have them repainted if they get bad enough. If they are chrome then a little steel wool when they start to rust will take care of that as well.

No matter what wheel you purchase pay attention when you have them mounted. The clearcoat can easily be damaged by the machine or the clamp on weights. (make them use sticky weights) Once you scratch the clear coat it's only a matter of time.

If your gonna paint them check the write up section of the forum there is a good one. Keep in mind steel wheels are pretty inexpensive in the wheel world as they start at like $50 a wheel brand new depending on the brand and size.
