tap it out and pull it back thru with an oversized nut around the stud and a lug nut

theyre easy enough to replace. if its rears you may have to take the shoe partially apart. the fronts i think you can get out without removing the hub. check youtube.

theres a notch i believe that allows you to get the rears out without taking anything but the drum cover off

yea, just tap it out with a hammer, and put the new one though with a nut and keep tightening it until you feel its been pressed through enough.

theres vids on youtube.

when i bought my xj, i only ahd 4 lug nuts on my passenger side rear. Soon found out the PO stripped it. New stud was under $2 at autozone and just a bit of beating the old one out with a bfh. Dont recall having to take anything more than the tire off to get to it.

alright cool thanks guys, and yeah that was my thought, if its torqued than it should be fine, well i went out and thought about it and looked at it and the lug isnt as far down as all the other ones, so i just wanna fix it now before it gets any worse, also its the passenger side front one, sorry i wasnt too specific

make sure your e-brake is off when you try to do the rears, contrary to what my haynes manual says, it might be tough to ge tthe drums off with it set lol
