Default Wheel Hubs?! Which ones? +Symptoms

I'm going to replace my axle u-joints, ball joints and wheel hubs. I believe one or all is causing some of my steering play and what worries me the most is I had some death wobble yesterday. I havn't experienced death wobble since I bought the jeep but then put a new RC steering stabilizer on for a band aid.

The other thing is this noise, its like a fast whoosh-woosh-whoosh-whoosh that is more noticeable at higher speeds coming from the front end.

I don't really know but to me that says wheel bearings.
I haven't done the lateral play check of the wheel yet.

My death wobble would/did happen above 45 mph when hitting bumps in the road all of a sudden it would feel like my wheel is going to fall off and if I brake and slow down it will go away and generally not come back.

Anyway, little confused on the different wheel hubs.

Theres ones that say for 90-99, 84-89, 89-99 and with or without Composite Disc brakes?

Like will these work?

or these?

I need to know the differences between them, I might just get them at autozone but I'm afraid them them getting the wrong ones too, they gave me the wrong drive shaft u-joints before...

Thanks!

Ok. That doesnt answer any of my questions.

Also they say:
"Q: Do you sell retail over the internet? A: No. We only work with independent parts stores, and warehouses,
to distribute our product."

I think I do need 84-89 ones, more like the Comanche's, instead of something that says 89-99, but what is this about "composite" brakes or not?!

And does anyone want to comment on my symptoms?

wheel bearing usually create a "growl" that you can turn left or right and it quiets down for a sec. Play in the steering system would be tie rods, ball joints etc, hub bearings can have play but almost always have the growl to 'em when they are that bad.

well you said you were going to replace your hubs so i suggested those....

try checking your ball joints, or maybe your tie rods...

check for play then youll know whats going on exactly

is your powersteering pump bolted firmly against the body and not moving around??

and yes you can buy those online...

from summit racing

I'm doing the ball joints and axle u joints at the same time. My tie rods and stuff don't look too bad and feel pretty stiff but that will all be getting replaced soon too.

can the growl have a rhythmic up and down sound to it?

by ps pump I assume you mean steering box, yes I've checked it and tightened up the play with the screw on top.

I'll check summit.

rythmic? no, not really, just gets louder the faster you go. A rythmic sounds might be tires.

If you look at my post (#14) here, you can see what composite brakes are. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/showth...ferrerid=11767

Beat me to it, rythmic could definitly be a shifted belt in one of the tires. Will probably cause a death wobble also.

Had a bad wobble, bad alignment, bad tires. Lifted it from 3" to 5" without an alignment after. went from crappy 31s with bad wear on 1 front tire. I had a bad wobble everytine at 45mph. Put brand new 33s on. Fixed it immedietly without alignment. Ps I did do every steering part before in a like 1 month gap. Then aligned it. Runs better now than it ever has since I got it in 08
