Default Wheel backspacing question

hey guys i just bought my first jeep. its a 1997 2 door cherokee. i plan on lifting it 4.5 inches to start out with and im going to be running 33x12.50 15s on it. im wanting to buy some cragar soft 8s and was told by my friend who also has a XJ that i should run 15x8. i was just wondering what kind of backspacing i should have so that i can prevent rubbing as much as possible?
im sorry if this is a stupid question ha im just new to the whole jeep scene
thanks

I believe that most people run 15x10s for 12.50s, you can run them on 15x8s though without issue and some actually recommend that to prevent popping a bead when aired down with either 3.5" or 4" back spacing
