Wheel backspacing?

I'm looking to do a 3inch lift, wheels, tires, I want to order all my parts before install but I'm not sure what backspacing for the wheels. I want to put on 31/ 10/ 15 tires on a 15x8 wheel. 3.75 or 4.50 bs. Is there any advantage of one over the other?

4" backspacing would be ideal for 31x10x15 tires. I had 4.5 and had rubbing issues on the lca's. I recently switched to 3.75 bs and now I rub the lower edge of the front fender when turning. Of course I'm running 33x12.50x15 tires and the extra width makes a difference.
