What's your preferred auto parts source? Looking for some pro tips.
I use autozone only parts. I went to advanced a few times and had to alter parts to get them to work. No certain brands. I always buy lifetime parts , whatever brand that may be. Except for u-joints, I buy the 1 year warranty cuz they have grease fittings. I like to keep my joints greased. You need to find a place your comfy with and get to know them and them you . It makes life easy when you know your parts man and he knows you. They do give more attention and time. You also get your parts faster,I can get mine the same day most of the time.
I use Napa. Its a national chain but locally owned franchise. The owners of Budshore(my Napas name) live in the same town as I. Its good to see my money staying here instead of some fat corporate pocket.
Not all but most pats they sell are made right here in the red white and blue.
And they don't sell one chromed out rice burning part.

There are certain things i will only get from NAPA.
(spark plug wires, dist caps, rotors, etc)
(Belden ignition stuff is tops!)
Most of the other stuff, if NAPA doesnt have it, i'll go to AutoZone.
