Well I tried to change the damn CPS that's on the bell housing of the tranny and OMG I just gave up on it for tonight.
I tried going at it from the top I tried going at it from the bottom and I failed everytime I tried to do it it was ridiculous!! I was about ready to put a couple rounds all through my truck
So that brings me to the title of the thread...
What is your guys' method to the madness which is, to change the CPS?

good old fashion sweat. I was getting about a 8th of a turn on the socket but I got it out after a bit. I found I was able to get my arms up there better if I crawled from the front instead of the side....weird.

The problem is the following: if you access from underneath you get your arm stuck at the drive shaft so if you remove the drive shaft you can fit a small 8mm wrench up there. To access from the back you will need the extentions.
