I like my Cooper Discoverer STT's. Never had anything else mind you. But I've had them for over a year on my daily driven heep and haven't had excessive/uneven wear. They work awesome off road. I am consistantly surprising people with how far I can go.

Well, I had a set of 32 inch Pro Comp mudders on for 3 years that worked great in sand, mud and on rocks. They were quiet in the road. They sucked in snow. I have a set of 33 inch Maxxis Bighorns on now and I've only tried them on rocks, logs and in mud. AWESOME on all. They are really quiet on the road. I'll have to let you know about sand and snow at a leter date. I'm predicting they will work great.

really liking my Cooper Stts. great traction on everything! I had them in the snow, 3 inches of clay more slippery than ice, rocks, interstate travel etc and they are great. Have about 2k miles on them and no signs of wear whatsover. I've heard that they are not a super high mileage tire obviously but people i've talked to have got about 30k out of them. good enough for me
They say that the Cooper Stts are the quietest mud terrain tire out there. All i know is that they are very much quieter than my yoko mud terrains.
I have Mickey Thompson baja claws on my 3/4 ton Dodge. They suck
Loud, pack with mud and are useless, and i cannot imagine what it like in off camber slippery stuff.

They have them on ebay all the time... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-NEW...4506.m20.l1116
I found a set a while back that went for under $400 shipped, u just have to be patient with ebay.... I have a mechanic that can get me a set also, i just need to find out how much he can get them for me. He doesn't charge me anything extra...

Well for a Mud tire, i'd reccomend a bogger. I ran a set of 35x14.50's for a while and they were beastly in the sloppy stuff but sucked on the rocks which is bad because I like rocks more and more each time i play on em. Ive got IROKs now but havnt wheeled em yet so as soon as i do, ill let ya know
i like my bfg km2's awesome in the mud dirt sand rocks and nice on the street to hard to beat. but swampers are a very nice tire as well and a lot better in the mud
