Default Whats this used ARB bumper really worth?

Saw this in Craigslist and was like until I saw the damage. I think these are like $1k new but $400 seems a little steep considering the damage.

Whats it really worth?

I have never seen one of these in person. I know its hard to tell from the photos, but do you think it could be fixed? How thick is that steel?

JakeWI payed $440 for the one I found him...perfect but a few scratches and of course melted light housings.

I'd go look at that one, and so long as it's only that front piece that's bent, you can repair it.

if the whole bumper is twisted...it's worth $50 or so.

those bumpers are designed to take a hit from a kangaroo and crumple...they are NOT rock bumpers, simply added protection...they bend and break instead of your jeep bending and breaking.

I would go 250, but i am also a cheap bastard lol. that looks like it could be hammered out too. I say go 325, 350 if hes not budging. if you dont get the price you want, dont settle for his, tell him you cant go that high and give him your phone number then tell him to call you when he cant sell his bumper for that high of a price.

for an idea on the steel...the whole bumper (with brackets) doesn't weigh more than 100 to 125 lbs.

I can lift it with one arm and bring it to chest height...I only weigh 180 and am in fairly decent condition.

mine was like 775 brand new, I would go around 200 bucks with the damage, if its not twisted, cut out the damaged metal, cut new pieces and weld em in and get it re powder coated

I will send him an email to see if he still has it and how flexible he is in the price.

to get a brand new arb shipped is like $1100 to door.

like jeepcomj said, i bought mine used for $440, but it was pretty much spotless. you can see a pic of it in the northwoods build thread.

from what i can see with the damage, i wouldnt pay more than $300. but i guess it could be better or worse in person. and i would also make sure if you do buy it that he has the mounting hardware and brackets. otherwise thats some more expenses.

hey. i would find out what type of cherokee that is off of. that looks different than mine. i know there are year differences, and for some reason that one kind of looks like it was off of a grand cherokee.

i think 250 to 350 is OK depending on the damage but then again these are not cheap bumpers to begin with so you might be in the 350 side
