i havent seen this yet... but a guys trying to sell me this cherokee for $650 and i was wondering what this button does exactly... thanks!

It changes the shift points depending on the setting. When it's on power mode, it shifts at higher RPMs pushing it harder than when set to comfort mode.

Its for the tranny,it makes it shift higher or more positive

it adjusts the way the tranny shifts i believe comfort allows it to slip a little bit for smoother shifts the newer cherokees are in the power mode all the time without that button...i believe thats right but if not im sure someone will correct me haha

It changes the shift points in the transmission. On comfort it shifts sooner at lower rpms for a smoother quiter shift. On power it shifts at a higher rpms to make more use of the engines horsepower for towing and offroad use. It was available on the 87-91 models.

hhmm... i havent seen this yet... i talked to this guy like a month ago... and he finally got back with me on pics... no D44 which is what i was hoping... i dunno if it even runs... i forget... if it dont he aint getting $650 thats for sure...

says its a 4.0 and it runs... just gotta jump it off... i dunno... not a killer deal...
