i feel like a dumdy asking this but i am a newb on here lol what is a sye and why is it needed??? oh and does any one have experience or opinions on the tuff country lift products

SYE = Slip Yolk Eliminator... very good idea if you're going to be lifting it

thank u very much if i only lift my baby 2in. 2 1/2in or 3 in will i need it ??? does bastard packs or new kits make any diffrence if needed?

you shouldnt need one with that small of a lift my friend.

I'm not sure you'll need it... but it's definately beneficial if you're gonna be offroading... say you break a universal joint in your rear drive shaft for example and have to limp back with only your front wheels pulling you... you're gonna lose all your gear oil in your transfer case and burn it up if you have very far to go back to civilization... where as with an SYE, that won't happen. But I don't think you're gonna get too much driveshaft vibration with only a 2 or 3 inch lift.

with this rig i dont plan on off roading gettin another rig for that. i want street over all performance! so then the sye will not b needed??

If you're getting another rig for off road, leave this one bone stock.
why spend money on this one, when you could use it for actual purpose on your off road rig?

cuz i plan on doing all the mods to both but my 99 limited i want a more modern look classy and stylish and later the sport or classic i get will b the romper stomper lol for wheelin and takin me and my 4 year old son out fishin campin etc. ive changed a few things already on my limited and my rig has been mistakin by a few people for a 2009 jeep commander and patriot
