I appreciate the compliment. I really really wanted a Wranger when I bought this. But a decent one was out of price-range. So my next favorite was the 2-door XJ's. I've really enjoyed this thing, and it's never let me down. The alternator is the only problem I've had out of it. It's been well taken care of and maintained my me and whomever owned it prior to.

I would keep it, not worth selling it. I miss my old 2 door tho.

just sold my 91 XJ 2door 4.0l ho for $800. 201k miles, brake light switch problem otherwise was mechanically sound. It was a struggle to get that much for it.

I say keep it and have fun.

i have a 92 identical to yours, (except mine has been well used and well abused. the rings are shot and the front fenders are pretty banged up. and it is a 5 speed) and i paid 700 for it. keep it and have fun!

I got $1500.00 for my 89 four door with a flat black rattle can paint job. It had 189,000 miles on it, and a BA-10 tranny. I also had about a 3" lift on it and some shot 31" BFG ATs. It goes to show you that there are buyers for everything!! Good luck on your decision!!

I just bought my 94 Sport with 145k with an auto. It was a 2 owner with every maint record from day 1 including the window sticker. Local truck (Oregon) so no rust at all. Aside from some fading paint on the fender and grill sorround the paint is very nice. It also had great options (8.25 rear, tow package, full gauges, etc) Interior is mint.

I think I paid too much and it was $2300.

Yours is nice but the miles could be scary for a potential buyer. Its probably not worth selling.

if you were to trade it in, you wouldnt get much. and i would tell them after you talk them down anyway, cuz otherwise you lose talking them down as well.

my bro was going to trade in his 1996 with 170xxx and they were only going to give him $600-$1000. the brand new tires on it cost $600 alone.

Realisticly the jeep is worth less then a grand. I am sure you can find someone to pay 1500 for it.. if you are willing to sit on it.
