Default What year xj steering column fit on a 91 cherokee?

I need to swap my steering column forms firewall to steering wheel and I am curious what years are interchangeable and also how hard it would be to put a 97 or newer column into my 91 Cherokee laredo; any help would be great, thanks.
Also I'm a tall guy so I need the tilt wheel to work so if that makes any difference Id appreciate any help.

i'd say 91 to 94. i think they added the air bag in 95.
i'm not 100% sure on 86-90 models if they used the same saginaw column. i would think so. other than the keys/ignition is different.

as for the 97+ column, i've seen it done, but not sure of the harness clips.

It's also the signal wires. Pre 91 wont work with the signals.
