Default What year waggy is best for axles?

Hey guys i was wondering if there were better years for the wagoneer axles to swap to the xj? My friend has a 1982 that runs and drives for 300 bucks. I was thinking about picking it up and doing the swap.

Waggys are alot of fun, if it runs and drives I would get a lift and some tires and keep the whole thing.

It runs and drives just needs a rear brake line. It sits so low to the ground it looks like a station wagon

So a 1982 D44 front axle off a waggy would not have a vacuum disconnect?
