I'm sure it's been asked and answered before, but I'll ask again anyway.
I'd like to know what year xj parts will fit my 96, ie: body parts especially the back hatch, hood fenders etc. Mine got hit by an H3 in 07 while my son had it, the H3 lost and had to be towed away.
I figure I'll wait til winter is over and look for a parts donor, a friend of my step-son has a 97 that I can probably get everything I need for free, but are those parts interchangable?

84-96 if you are looking for body parts.

 

97 was the year they changed alot, and after that they changed more over time, so pre 97 is the way to go
