Not alot of lift but quite a bit of travel. Fiberglass fender to clear larger tires while keeping the lift to a minumum. Instead of just coils, coverting to coilovers (custom fab mounts) would be a better option. Any of the XJ suspension lifts will work for a 4wd or 2wd.. but as mentioned you dont necessarily want lift...but suspension travel. Maybe check out some of the JeepSpeed XJs... http://www.jeepspeed.com/

You can get some nice fiberglass fenders for such a jeep here..

As far as lift you definitely don't want much and you need suspension travel. Good suggestion on coil over conversion. Main thing is do some searching on the net to get ideas for such a project.

33" tire = 4+" & glass fender or lots or trimming
35" tire = 6+" & glass fender or lots or trimming
youll want a LA 4-link suspension (good kits are the 6.5" BDS LA, 6.5" RK 4-Link LA, and the Full Traction 6"). You'll want Bilstein 7100 resi shocks at the minimum, and a good set of air bumps front and rear.
of course, you also need to brace the **** out of the unibody.
