What year Jeep Cherokee seats are interchangable, I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee
This is a 6 cyl, the front seat is no longer connected to the floor and is wired to what remains of the recalled bracekt assembly, What jeep cherokee years are interchangeable

Are you looking to put regular (XJ) Cherokee seats in your Grand Cherokee or are you looking to go between GC years?
Also you mention "what's left of the bracket"... if your bracket is rusted out it won't matter what seat you have if there's nothing secure to attach it to.

If you are wondering about switching Grand Cherokee seats, you should probably ask in the Grand Cherokee forum.
You've wandered into the Cherokee forum. Most of us here don't know much about Grand Cherokees. The GCs are a different vehicle, not just a variation on the Cherokee.

I believe IIRC, the 94's and down were interchangeable and the 95's and up were interchangeable. Jeep put in a cross member in the 95's that the front seat anchors bolt to. Prior to that they just bolted into the floor. Also, I believe the actual seat structure/cushions frame are bolted to the seat under carriage so it may be possible to remove the seat from one type carriage and mount it on another.
