what would it take to turn a 2wd 93 xj into a 4wd? and about how much would it set me back?

 

you need the transfer case the linkages the piece of the tranny on the rear that mounts the transfer case a front axle a shifter for the t case maybe a new console. i would assume about 500 to 1500 in parts from the junk yard

 

sorry don't forget the front axle shaft as well. i am probably missing some stuff but that is close

 

dang!! well I'm talkin to a guy right now about buy his 93 2dr 4cyl for about 600, and im trying to debate wether or not I want to buy it since he says it is 2wd. and I really want a 4wd version, cuz all the trails i know of you have to have 4wd to get through.

 

you can get a 4x4 4.0 liter 6 cylinder for around 700 to 1000 dollars in that year model keep looking around.

the only thing you forgot that i see is the harness.

 

just find a donor that has a blown motor or a trashed body. Me and a couple buddys just changed a friends from 2wd to 4wd in 2 weekends. and that was with a lot of beer drinking mixed in.
