Was cleaning up and found this harness under drivers side carpet. Anyone know what it's for? I don't see a plug for this anywhere. There are 6 wires in the bundle... Brown, green, red, tan, orange and purple. Help?

Like highmileage said its probably for powers seats or something like that. If you look around under the hood and dash you may find many plugs with nothing in them. It seems they used the same wiring harnesses for many models of Cherokees and where they lack options the plugs just are not used.
I have a 94 Country and I just found 3 empty plugs in the dash just to the left of the steering wheel.

One of those wires is hot. The red and orange wires (they also have a violet stripe) send the hot signal to the locks on the other doors. I just needed to find the ones that went hot when you pushed the lock and unlock button on the drivers door so I only probed for that.

Hmm, so in theory I could use this harness for other power options somewhere in the cab? From the look of the harness (I only got a glance at it) it comes from the rear along drivers side and sits under my feet under the carpet... Is it supposed to be plugged in somewhere under the dash or?
I still had the kick panel in place when I dealt with it and it was plugged into the door harness so I dont know how far back it goes. I would guess that it goes to all four doors and windows to control them and from your pic, it goes to the rear drivers side first.
And let me perhaps backtrack: I probed these wires while the harness was plugged in. The part you have may not be sourced to 12v but gets it from the door. I would test with a meter.
