Default What is this and why is it leaking?

So I'm trying to diagnose some leaking I have with the Jeep. I've already replaced my valve cover gasket and oil filter o-ring adapter. Looks like the RMS is in fact leaking but I'm not sure what this other item is that's leaking. I cleaned it off and drove it around for a bit and when I looked under the hood more fluid (oil?) has appeared... Hopefully the pics help. Any help would be appreciated. First pic is the bottom view (leak) second pic is the top view of the item that is leaking.

(Its the black cylinder)

Automatic
4x4 4.0L

****Edit****
Found an additional leak, here's the pic. Its next to the bottom of the serpentine belt on the crankshaft.

Are any of these leaks worth fixing or is it better to just keep topping off?

Thanks in advance!
Jake

Charcoal canister, if it's full of oil it's probably due to excessive blow-by.

Make sure you fill the canister back up for the cook off.

Front timing cover seal is blowing oil back under the whole engine.

Ever change one of these cruiser? It either sounds expensive or time consuming haha

Of course I have.

Need some special tools though. A shop should charge about 1.1 hours labor plus parts.

That doesn't sound too bad. Thanks for the info. Off topic what should I expect for a broken differential bolt extraction? The bolt snapped off, I drilled it out and attempted to extract it myself, it wouldn't budge so I welded a nut on the extractor and attempted to remove it with a socket, well the extractor bolt snapped. So now I have a stuck extractor screw inside of a stuck differential bolt that's stuck in the differential housing. Very small leak (few drops overnight) local shop wants to charge me $190 (2hrs of drilling labor and tapping). Is it worth getting fixed or should I just top off the oil from time to time, or do it redneck style and use a small c-clamp to clamp the cover and house together. It's the lower right bolt on a d44.

Just took the canister off. Wasn't oil after all. Well it was a little bit of oil but I think it was just from being old. It was actually radiator fluid leaking from where my hose went into the heater core, took hose off, inspected for cracks, re-attached and tightened down and it doesn't appear to be leaking anymore.

The canister has a little nipple on the bottom of it with a raised edge. Is there suppose to be another line that connects to that or is it just suppose to vent out into the air? And I've heard of people drilling the canister and emptying and refilling with carbon, is this a good practice or just keep it as is?

Thanks!

The optimistically named EZ Out. When I was changing my rear bump stops, I broke off 3 of the bolts. Drilled one and tried to use an extractor and of course, that broke off. Tried drilling through that and just chewed up drill bits. Ended up getting a small cobalt grinding bit that fit in a drill chuck. It didn't look like much, but it turned the hardened metal of the extractor into glitter-like shavings. The bit itself was about 50 bucks, and I probably spent two hours grinding away at it, so that's probably a fair quote.

No the coolant is bright green, but I added a uv dye to my oil to find the leaks, so under black light they both stand out. The cannister had dirt/grime etc on it so with the coolant leaking onto it at night and under black light I assumed it was oil but further investigation I realized it was coolant
