Default What wheels are these?

Can someone identify these wheels? They look like Canyon wheels but I am not sure...

Sorry for the crappy pic but it is the only one I have of these from the CL ad. Going to go look at them after work and make an offer on them.

Well they are not Grand Cherokee wheels as they are 5 X 4.5 and not 5X5.5 like a ZJ. They are currently on a '94 YJ. I think they will look great on an XJ, as I will be blacking them out w/ semi-gloss black. I want them not only because they look good (my opinion) but they are 15X8 vs. the 15X7 I have now. I also have new tires coming and mounting them on a new set will leave me with a spare set of wheels N tires.

I think they are these, but not sure:

first off ive seen them on a Zj and not all zjs are 5x5.5. if your going to paint them then id make sure to sand down the smooth surface and primer before you paint. or you could just paint them and repaint every month.

They are Canyon rims. They were more popular on the Wrangler.

My bad, I didn't know not all ZJ were not 5X5.5, that opens up more options (haven't been looking at ZJ wheels!). Does it depend on the axle or was it certain years got 5X4.5?

Got the guy talked down to $100 for all 5 so as long as there are no major defects/curb rash they will be mine tonight. Tomorrow doing a full fluid change on the XJ and dropping off these wheels at the tire shop to get the 31X10.5 tires mounted. Too bad they only had 4 tires for the discount price I got. Still gotta find a 31X10.5 spare.

:-)

^^what he said.
yes they are canyon rims and they did not come stock on a zj. and yes, all zj's came stock with 5 on 4.5 bolt circle.
they changed the bolt pattern to 5 on 5 in 1999, when they changed to the wj.

the canyons came on the 03+ jeep tj with 30 inch GS-A tires.
they are indeed 5 on 4.5 and will fit a stock cherokee.

Well I have seen them on XJs and like the look- any issues with fit with the 5.25" BS I should be aware of? I will be running a RC 3" lift and 31X10.5 Goodyear MT/R tires. I don't mind trimming a bit for rubbing issues, but do want to keep my flares mostly intact.

Finneys98xj has a set of these on his '93 XJ. They don't look bad on an XJ imo.

ZJs had 5x4.5. WJs have 5x5.

Xjs have 5x4.5 and those look like TJ Canyons. 15x8

but some ZJs had them too. Not sure if they were 7 or 8 wide though.

Destro,

I'm waiting for cash to get treadwrites, but have the same wheels. I plan on blacking mine out too. Get aircraft coating remover to strip the clearcoat. Spray it on, wait a minute, and wipe w/ a dry cloth. Also, use self etching primer in conjunction w/ Duplicolor wheel paint. All the aforementioned products can be found @ Farm n Fleet or an auto store. Good luck! remember, its all in the prep.

The ZJ canyon has different backspacing and window shape.

ZJ Canyon w/235 on ZJ
