Here's what you need. All spicer..
Front and Rear drive shaft you use the same u-joints even at the cardan joint...You can use either DAN.5-153x zerk in cross, or DAN.5-433-1X zerk in cap. Bottom line is front and read ds must use a 1310 style u-joint.

DAN.5-153x:

DAN.5-433-1X:

At the cardan joint you will need one of these most likely.. http://www.alljeep.com/oscommerce/pr...ucts_id=167258

Front axle shafts you will use the 297 style u-joints which have been replaced by 5-760x for spicer.

Spicer 5-760x

ok, my part numbers are for precision brand, numbers should cross easily tho.

front driveshaft axle end u-joint is a 1310 style joint, part number 369
front driveshaft cardon end u-joint is part number 380. 2 required.
front double cardon centering ball kit is part number 617.

if you can change u-joints, you can change the double cardon joint, aka, centering ball.

the body's of the greasable are the same as the non greasable ones. they even have the flat spot where the grease zerk would go.

i usually buy just the non greasable and grease them up when i install them.
they are cheap and easy to change, so i do it often enough whether they need em or not.
now, when i go chromo axle shafts, i'll get the rebuildable chromo joints.

WHen you buy them you have 3 options, non greasable, grease zerk in the cap and grease zerk in the cross. In the cap has a grease zerk that literally screwed into the top cap of the joint. Where as in the cross it's screws to the cross section. For the CV joint on the front DS you want grease zerk in the cap not the cross or it could cause binding.

No there are no clips in the diff that will hold the axle shafts in. Should only need to remove the hub unit then you slide it out slowly as not to mess up the seals..
