Silver looking box behind the dash and steering column.





These wires are behind the dash aswell. When i tug on them they move that silver box.

 

Taking a guess I'd say there for the hvac system. u can always just unplug them and see what doesn't work? Don't know what your plan is but if it were mine I would put the wires back up there and forget about them unless something doesn't work properly

 

The box looks like the tcm. The wire with an end I'd the antenna wire for the radio and I'm not sure what the bare wires are. Does the radio work?

X2 The black wires are likely just passing through the wiring for the box, not actually part of it. Looks too thin for a factory ant. wire, but could be part of an aftermarket stereo or alarm.

your second picture with the black wire and the weird looking connector - that's your factory radio antenna lead.

Also: clean your truck!

Why should the inside condition of my truck matter with my question? Are you guys trying to say if I go mudding and get my inside dirty, that I have to clean it? And yes, those are ashes because I was smoking while working on my truck

 

Here's the deal breaker. I thought for the longest time that another black cord with that metal tip on the end was my radio antenna, there was no antenna when I got the truck, I ripped the antenna and cord off my explorer and put that on the jeep and ran the wire up to the inside dash for the radio. The original wire for the original antenna was ran into the dash area where the radio goes. I discovered another wire, in the pictures in the dash aswell. So I'm asking, wild guesses, anyone have a clue, maybe?
