Hello, i want to put a 20" magnaflow straight thru muffler on my 98 jeep xj but since the muffler is straight thru it will offset the original tailpipe. Does anybody know what tailpipe would fit with a straight thru muffler? id prefer a 2.5" pipe for better flow.

 

Why dont you just get an offset Magnaflow muffler instead? Its still a straight through design. Thats what I did and put it in the factory spot.

 

Will it sound the same? Are there any videos that I could hear?

 

It will be a tad bit quieter then the normal round case version but thats it. I dont have any sound clips of mine but it is pretty quiet and thats what I was going for.

 

I have the same muffler as 5speed on my 96 with the magnaflow cat.
Offset lined everything up nicely.
