Hey all,
I pulled my front DS the other day and have been driving around without it, just to see if it rides any smoother. Needless to say, it does, so I am in the market for new U-joints.
What part numbers do I need? I know there are 3 U-joints in the front DS.
Specs, if it helps:
2001 Limited
LP (I think) D30
ABS
Also, I will be doing the same to my rear DS when I replace my rear pinion seal. I have a D35 back there with stock DS. Part number?
Thank you very much!

Ok, but there are so many choices...

What's the benefit of greasable vs. non?
How many do I need for the rear shaft, and it's the same one, right?

Greasable vs. non greasable is really a preference. I like the non greasable just because I am lazy and don't like to take the time to go down and grease everything periodically haha.
You'll just need 2 for the rear. And you'll need 3 for the front. And yes, all the u joints are the same part number.

Alright, I am going to resurrect this thread because I have one more question. Does the U-Joint at the T-case end of the front DS need to be non-greasable? Or is it just that if it is greaseable, I would have to remove the shaft in order to service it?
