Have a look at the TSL radial in 33x10.5-15.
I am on my second set of TSL radials, and when these wear out, I will be going onto a 3rd set of the same.

People get confused about contact patch... A vehicle of X weight, and X tire pressue is going to have the same size (area) contact patch regardless of tire size. What difers is the contact patch 'shape'. A narrow tire will have a longer contact patch (think tractors) than a wider tire which will have a well, wider contact patch (think race car).

At any rate, the 33x10.5 tsl radials combined with 4.56 gearing make a real nice daily driver/weekend warrior package.
If you are running a CryCo 8.25 with 29spline axles, I'd not be concerned with strength. I personally don't see the need to spend money on a D44 as it is marginally stronger. If you're really scared of the 8.25/29spline then step up to a FoMoCo 9".

33x10.5 TSL Radials on 2.5" lift...

Thanks for all of the input guys. I do have a D44 with Aussie and 4.56 gears in the rear. I still have a Dana "Turdy" in the front with the same set up. I'm sure 35s will mean sudden and violent death to the D30 but, I am a very technical and easy going 4wheeler. If it beaks, I'll just do what I do when any part breaks. Find something stronger to replace it with.

if youre gonna lock the 30, truss it solid, get a good diff cover and add some alloy shafts and nice u joints or the longfield kit if you keep breaking 760s.

What happens running 34's on dana 35's:

Told you I had the pic, there's your proof.
By the way, that's not me smiling like an idiot there, but that is my high-lift. (I'm taking the picture.)

i like the picture zooty...but for tires the LTB is a great tire. i have 33x13.50x15 on mine. IMO i like the biggest tires possible on a small amount of lift but that is not always whats best. if you are looking to do some flexing i would stick with the 33s.

i run the 33 x 12.50 bfg km2's awesome tire i like a wider contact patch me and my friends do rocks snow and trail riding not much mud so the 12.50 makes it a little easier on some trails. i am not a fan of the 33x10.50 personally i would rather have the extra tire width to help with flotation in the snow and sand and a larger foot print on the rocks.

i like the 13.50 i had to get wheel spacers to run them but hey i like them. i do some snow trails and some mild sand and they are great. i like the fact that inorder to run them i had to have wheel spacers, therefore a wider base, which makes me feel alot safer from a rollover. i kno i am probably going to get flogged for promoting wheel spacers but i need them to run my tires and i did NOT choose the tire size. i know i guy who works at the factory and when you can get all 4 super swampers for $150 you dont complain about size, you modify you jeep to run the tires lol thats just my opinion, hope it helps.
