They are about 6-ish, but 6.5's should fit.

kenwood 5x7s..might get a sub later but they are alright..not bad at all for a b-day present!!

Does any1 know if the XJ-Pod comes with a built in amp, or you have to have an external amp?

You have to get your own amp. The prices listed on Quadratec are for just the panel or panel with just the sub. That is an awesome idea some one came up with, though. That hole is pretty much wasted space and a sub box takes up too much space.

I put in 6x9 in my hatch after cutting the f-glass out and the work and sound fantastic just use the rivets and they will hold...Tj

i took my rear panel off and reverse mounted 2 8's on my hatch and plan on cutting 2 6x9's in my doors and 2 10's behind my seat

6.5s in the front doors, 6x9 in the hatch, 6.5 in the soundbar, 2.5s in the dash.

I put in 6 1/2 into mine. With a little trimming they fit great! i also covered the box in felt.
