Default Is this what rod knock sounds like?

Thought it might be my flex plate bolts at first so I checked them and theyre tight as can be. Could it be my felx plate is cracked or does it sound like my rods are knocking?
It happened suddenly after I went over a speed bump coming into my place. I pulled the plugs one by one but the knock never got and quieter so I cant tell which cylinder its in if it is a rod.

I think it might be more of a rod instead of a piston, since the noise is lower down in the engine. Not too sure though, I'm not an engine expert. I just know when something isn't right with it and then I troubleshoot.

Sounds just like mine! Is yours loudest when you first start it and almost goes away when it's hot? Mine does and it's been driving me nuts since I bought it. Good luck and let us know if you figure it out!

Piston skirts and push rods.

Flex plate sound like someone dropped a jumbo marble into a coffee can and started swinging it around. It's very annoying. I know because I have it.

Engine internals are usually a little more robust, and follow a distinct audio pattern.

A flexplate is like someone laying under your XJ shaking a spray paint can with a huge smug grin on their face.

Broken piston skirt takes the cake. Found a good bit in my oil pan. Any write ups to how to replace a piston?
